Outpost Hope One is a series of Federation installations within the Hope One Dyson Sphere, a technological marvel built around Saepio, a G-type star, presumably in order to maximize the use of solar energy. Discovered in 2389 by the USS Andromeda,the sphere itself has a diameter of 200 million kilometers (approx 2/3 the Earth’s orbit around the sun) and has an interior inhabitable surface equal to 245 million class M planets. Considering there is estimated to be only 20 million class M planets in our galaxy, the Hope One Dyson Sphere is the easily the greatest engineering feat known to exist, making it some of the most prime real estate in our galaxy.
