* The Treaty of Horizon issued in a new age of diplomatic relations between the Federation and the Romulan Star Empire. Though alliance is uneasy at best, the treaty is historic.
** Though the Federation and the Rebel Alliance are enemies, it is not unherd of for the two groups to work together when faced with a greater enemy.
*** The Rebel Alliance and the True Way share the goal of taking down the Federation, however, differences in tactics keep the two groups seperate, and not on eachother's good side. The True Way is more inclined to utilize terrorist tactics, where the Rebel Alliance operates as a legitimate military. The Rebel Alliance and True Way are often merged in the eyes of the Federation public, villifying both.
